Shau: genius!

JE: you made a typo so your whole post is rendered moot. Also: ass-cannons, you can't have them.

I'm going to write a short essay about how emotions are just chemicals in your brain trying to boss the thinking part of you around and that they should be carefully analyzed to determine whether they are worth indulging when you do have them.

I intend to then laugh at it and remind myself of the dangers of fanaticism and blind certainty.

The "thinking part" is also just chemicals.

Also, "Liberians"? Perhaps unfortunately, I haven't been discussing Uganda of late.

Okay, this world is starting to look like The City in Transmetropolitan... every damned place I look I see someone I swear is Spider... You were good up until the just kidding part... Spider never kids...

anyway, looks like I may be spending Saturday moving and vaguely awaiting a call from a girl in LA in thanks for flowers and candy I'll be sending her (assuming my damned unemployment check has arrived by today...)

Incidentally, I found a place that makes Absinthe flavoured lollipops... With the number of pics involving booze (being drank or just pics of bottles lined along the ceiling of the kitchen) I figure the weird alcohol-flavoured lollipops are good for someone who admits to an oral fixation...
Cuz apparently I gotta break this down for you dense motherfuckers- I'm trans feminine nonbinary. My pronouns are they/them.

The "thinking part" is also just chemicals.
And electricity.

But yes, that's where the whole "laughing at the dangers of fanaticism" part comes in. The reasoning wouldn't be very satisfying to laugh at if there weren't holes in it.

Gift: bought. A hardy African violet. Cheap, yeah, but robust as hell. She says she's had enough chocolate over the holidays.

Meal: we ate at TGI Friday today. On Saturday I cook her a potato with special toppings. No, really, she wants that.

Since today is my informal anniversary, and tomorrow is Valentine's, we're just having fun at home. I think we'll probably watch a movie and make some awesome food. Today's meal was Thai basil shrimp with snow peas and asparagus. Tomorrow, we'll probably have rib-eye steaks and something as yet to be determined.

We also went to our local food co-op and bought every single type of organic pear they sold and made a taste platter out of them all to see which kind we liked the best (red d'anjou). Tomorrow's new food is a pummelo.
My son makes me laugh. Maybe he'll make you laugh, too.

there are no grrls on the interbutts Koumei, we both know that. :loveya:

i... really don't care about ass-cannons?
(I ... actually didn't know what you were talking about for a good 5 minutes)

Besides pie and bloodrage is pretty good consolation, as are hardcore analizing scumdogs of the universe and their lolita demons. Not to be forgotten is papa Nurgle. He cares. Mentioning Tzeetch as having an influence on chaos is like saying that the Emperor is hiding on Terra, so I'll leave it at that.

[edit]: I ... made a typo in my other post here. Cryborgs.... lulz. Wait, the Borg were ash white and wore black. Cryborgs is probably appropriate.

I don't care about February 14th, but I must admit that I hate being single on March 14th.

Well, we slaughtered them. It was Sisters, Nids, Tau and Necrons (lolwhut) against Orks, Chaos and Moar Nids. On the minus side, every fucking thing in Chaos has an Invulnerable save - and one that's so good some armies wish they could have that just as a regular save.

On the plus side, Lictors don't find Heavy Flamers to be so funny. The Macharius Vulcan and the Hellhammer also dealt enough damage to draw three Greater Daemons out (Tzeench, Khorne and Slaanesh. Nurgle called in sick and sent a Daemon Prince in his place). After they assaulted the Hellhammer, doing very little, they got murderised. Dominion (4x Melta) and Retributor (2x Multi Melta, 2x Heavy Bolter) squads really are awesome. They personally sent the Lord of Change back home in a small pine box.

Dakkafex sadly did nothing except absorb enemy shots. That being said, others liked it (I modelled it to be standing upright, not hunched over, so when they realised it's a 'fex and not a hive tyrant, they agreed it looks awesome. I'm going to get a Monopoly top hat for it), and we always kept everything within 6" of a synapse creature.

It was a huge success for, among others, the Daughters of the Emperor. THIS is how you spend a Support Capitalism Day.

Apparently, Bill Amend disagrees with our winning category:

"But transportation issues are social-justice issues. The toll of bad transit policies and worse infrastructure—trains and buses that don’t run well and badly serve low-income neighborhoods, vehicular traffic that pollutes the environment and endangers the lives of cyclists and pedestrians—is borne disproportionately by black and brown communities."

Turns out there was a change of plans. I didn't stay in on V-day. I ended up partying. It was fun.
